There is More for You Than Against You

I took some time to reflect on some things and life. In that moment of conviction, the Lord had me to review my mistakes or places of error. I was reminded, that if I never reflect on it, I will never grow!! Growth comes from a place of groaning and discomfort. However, if you never reflect, how will you grow? So, I took my notepad and began to write down the pros and the cons! I was so surprised that there were more pros than there were cons! I am reminded of this, that if God is for me who/what can be against me?

If He made you a promise and it has yet to be fulfilled, who are you to deny yourself the right of a good groan and grow? Remember that in your waiting, there is more for you than things that are against you! Learn from the discomfort, reflect on the pros and cons! A psalmist wrote it best, Psalm 54:4 “Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul”.

Let’s Pray!

Lord in every area that brings discomfort, remind us that You are more than the world against us. You are the Lover of our souls! You are a keeper and a very present help in the time of trouble. Give us what is needed for the day and supply us with the strength and sustaining power! It is in Your Son Jesus’ name we pray! AMEN!
