This blog is dedicated to those of us who have big dreams like Joseph but they are often over shadowed by fears and doubts!!
This weekend was nothing short of AMAZING! I had the opportunity to live out my dream on stage with some phenomenal women of God! While preparing for this event there were so many emotions and distractions. There were times I sold my own self into bondage by convincing myself that I didn't have what it took or that I didn't deserve the opportunities that God has supplied!! Have you ever felt that way?
Sometimes we create enemies within ourselves.... a little like Joseph's brothers. Joseph had his own family sell him into bondage because the opportunities and favor provided to him were far too big. We may not have brothers selling us into bondage but we may prohibit our own destinies by fear and self doubt!
Solution???
God asked me a question before the event! "Do you trust Me?" This question settled it all!! In order to serve Him we have to trust! In order to live out the dreams of our hearts we have to TRUST God!! This isn't easy but it's well worth it!!
By the time the concert started....I felt empowered by my faith that no matter what happened that night I was going to trust Him! It was God that provided the door through the faith of SOMEONE phenomenal (Lisa Knowles-Smith). It blessed me to not only be used by him but to be encouraged by His Voice to trust him! Big dreams or small ones!!' Be empowered to break free from fear and self bondage! Trust God with your dreams and live them out loud!!
